How to Reset your Laptop Password if Forgot I

It has come to our understanding that many people has lost their system out of password forgetting or being doomed just because they don't know how. but today here is steps to take to recover forgotten system password.

 Reset laptop password with password reset disk should be our first and the best choice, while not everyone could notice it and prepare reset disk before. So how to reset forgotten laptop password without disk quickly? Now I will introduce one way I have used to reset my laptop password - reset laptop password with Command Prompt in safe mode in details. It works with another administrator.
Tips: If you don't have any accounts with admin priviledge, you also can try to recover forgotten password with Windows password tool.

Steps for laptop password recovery with command prompt:

Step 1: Boot or Reboot your Windows 7 laptop (take Windows 7 as example).
Step 2: Press F8 to enter Advanced Boot Options before the Windows 7 loading screen appears.
Or Press CTRL to enter Advanced Boot Options when computer power on.
Step 3: Choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt in the coming screen, and press Enter.
There are three options for choice, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and Safe Mode with Command Prompt. In order to reset Windows user password with command prompt, so select Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

Step 4: Wait for Windows 7 to load files until Windows login screen comes out.

Step 5: Log in with an administrator account until you see login screen.
Step 6: A Command Prompt appears. Type net user in the Command Prompt and press Enter.
Windows user account names will be listed for you in the Command Prompt screen.

Step 7: Type net user fuzi 123 and hit Enter.
'fuzi' is your locked Windows user account name. And '123' means the new password you want to reset for the locked account.
Step 8: The new password has been successfully reset when the command is completed successfully.

Step 9: Log on your laptop with the new password.
Whenever you need to log on to Safe Mode, an administrator account password is necessary. So it is highly recommended you to write Windows password down and store it safely or creating a Windows password recovery disk before Windows laptop password lost.
Therefore, we recommend you to save your Windows password, or create password reset disk when you still could access your laptop, otherwise you would need to reset Windows lost or forgotten password with professional third-party software for Windows password reset when locked out of laptop.
