The Lagos State University Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Muslim
Law Students (NAMLAS) is set to hold its 7th Legal Workshop on Thursday,
6th of November 2014 at the MBA Auditorium, LASU.
The annual event is aimed at discussing contemporary legal issue as they affect the socio-political development of the country, to raise funds for indigent students graduating to the Nigeria Law School and to award distinguished jurists.
This year's edition which is organised in honour of a foremost legal luminary, Chief AbdulFatai Idowu Sofola (SAN) will discuss on "The Veracity of the Freedom of Religion in Nigerian Legal System".
The workshop shall have in attendance distinguished legal personalities such as Chief Idowu Sofola (SAN), Mr. A. J. Owonikoko (SAN); Kemi Pinheiro (SAN); Dr. A. A. Lawal; Mr. Segun Ajibola (SAN); Justice Aminat Augie; Hon. Justice Lateefah Okunnu; Chief Kemi Uthman Pinheiro (SAN), Alh. Femi Okunnu, Barr. M. A. Sanni, amongst others.
