It’s never nice seeing your ex boyfriend out and about and it’s even worse when all eyes are on you during that excruciating moment.
Poor Rihanna found herself in exactly that situation on Thursday evening when she decided to watch a charity basketball game at the Barclays Center in New York, which Chris Brown just so happened to be taking part in.
Fortunately the pop star was flanked by a group of pals, including Cara Delevingne, who managed to make the situation a hell of a lot less awkward for her.

That awkward moment your ex boyfriend runs past you

 Of course the girls couldn’t prevent their pal from having to see Chris, who is currently on with his on/off and rumoured to be pregnant girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
But Rihanna being Rihanna meant she looked cool as a cucumber and she managed to pull off the ‘does my face look bothered’ expression perfectly.
She also looked typically sexy wearing a pair of tiny cut-off shorts with heels, as well as a baggy jumper.

Model Cara, who was wearing a matching pair of shorts and top, did her best to make sure Rihanna had a ball at the game - not a hard task for the goofy clothes horse.
She even appeared to be doing that fake laugh people do when they want their friend to look really funny.
Chris meanwhile looked happy as Larry while running around the pitch during the game which was hosted by New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and former New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano.

However, they managed to track him down and arrested him on an unrelated vandalism charge. He has now been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the 26-year-old beauty and her mansion.
