Kim Kardashian Thinks Taylor Swift's Reaction to Kanye West's "Bitch" Lyric Is "So Stupid," Source Says

There's bad blood between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift , all right.
In January, Kanye West called Swift to discuss using her name in the song "Famous," off his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo. The following month, the track premiered at Madison Square Garden in New York City during

Meet the pilot who flies with Santa Claus

Pierre-David Boivin remembers well the Christmas when he was five years old. Woken late on Christmas Eve by his parents, Boivin and his younger brother toddled sleepily to the back door. “He just arrived,” their parents told them. Could they see him? The boys peered through the back window into the darkness, searching for the sleigh their parents said they’d seen gliding through the sky.

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Falls Short of ‘Jurassic World’ Global Box Office Record

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” racked up $517 million globally in its first weekend in theaters, a massive launch that falls just shy of a record opening.
The film debuted on over 30,000 screens internationally, scoring first place finishes in every major market where it debuted with the exception of Korea and Vietnam.
“The Force Awakens” could not trump “Jurassic World’s” record worldwide debut of $524.9 million, but that film also benefited from an opening in China where it made more than $90 million in its first weekend of release. The latest “Star Wars” doesn’t hit the People’s Republic until Jan. 9.
Even without China, it was still a gigantic global launch. “Star Wars” has debuted in nearly 70% of the international market, with Greece and India joining China as the few countries left to see the film. WaltDisney Studios backed the $200 million production and is looking for “The Force Awakens” to reinvigorate the science-fiction franchise as it hopes to create two more sequels and a raft of spinoffs and prequels.
Without “Star Wars,” local Chinese films dominated the world’s second-largest film market. “Mojin: The Lost Legend,” a fantasy film about a group of grave robbers, picked up $85 million in its inaugural weekend, while “Surprise – Journey to the West” earned $24 million in its sophomore weekend, pushing its total to $34 million.
Disney and Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” and South Korean adventure drama “The Himalayas” rounded out the top five highest-grossing films overseas, earning $9.2 million and $8.5 million, respectively. “The Good Dinosaur” has made $189.6 million since opening in November, while “The Himalayas” was able to hold off “Star Wars” on Korean box office charts.

A Paris chateau built in honour of Louis the Great has become the most expensive property ever sold after going for a staggering NZ$444 million.
Located between Versailles and Marly-le-Roi on a 57 acre section, the Chateau Louis XIV may resemble a 17th Century estate but it was completed in 2011.
According to the Daily Mail the estate was sold to a Middle Eastern buyer.
The sale price has eclipsed a London penthouse which previously held the record after selling for $NZ326 million.

Finally! Denrele Edun comes out as Gay?.

...

...

For a long while, popular VJ Denrele Edun’s sexuality has been in contention. The eccentric TV presenter shared a very suggestive photo with a male companion on Instagram with the caption,
‘That moment when the Side Chick is not a Chick! #TheMorningAfter #TransTuesday into#WednesdayWant’.

The picture, seemingly taken at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, has sent many thinking it’s his way of coming out as an homosexual as it was taken with a male who is wearing only a towel. Madonna defends herself on Instagram after she's criticised for cutting set short and starting late

Madonna has hit back at fans who criticised her for cutting her set short after taking to the stage an hour late.
In a lengthy Instagram rant, the singer, who suffered technical difficulties ahead of her show at the Manchester Arena on Monday night and was forced to cut her set, told critics to get their facts straight.
Her post began: "FACTS: its good to have them before you jump to conclusions!"
The 57-year-old then went on to describe, in detail, what caused her late arrival to the stage, including a crashed video and corrupt back-up file.
It seems the singer has faced backlash from angry fans who have complained she cut her set short – all after arriving late.

But Madonna's post explained that the venue's curfew forced her hand.
She wrote: "I had to make cuts in show before show started. Dress You Up was one of them and my 3rd guitar song.
"This still brought us past the 11:00 curfew! But we went on and the venue was kind enough to extend till 11:39!!
"It was there choice not mine to end the show!! always want to finish. So we all missed the last 3 songs!"

The star added that her fans had still enjoyed an amazing show (modest as ever Madonna) and revealed they only missed 12 minutes despite the hour-late start.
During Monday's show, the singer faced her critics in person as she jokingly told the audience to "shut the f*** up".
As she took to the stage, Madonna immediately faced boos from the waiting crowd but she tried to lighten the mood with a foul-mouthed apology.
She explained her lateness, saying: "The video crashed. We had no video and we had to wait until we could reboot. No selfish diva b**** reason. If you diva b****es want to keep complaining about it don't come to my show."

An earlier announcement was made that the show wouldn't end until 11.30pm, according to reports from irate fans inside the venue.
The situation, according to the announcement, was "beyond the artist’s control". There were reports of loud booing and people walking out.
Fans on Twitter said the star was around an hour late to take to the stage, leading to widespread fears of missed last buses and trains from the venue.
Tim Morton Davies wrote on Twitter: “Over 50mins late at Manchester Arena and no announcements. Not acceptable. People have jobs to go to @Madonna.”

Lois Griffiths said: “What a joke @Madonna an hour late already.... My dad and his wife still waiting.”
Doors at the 22,000-seater venue opened at 6.30pm, with the Eighties icon expected to begin her set at 9pm.
However, the artist did not appear to the stage until shortly after 10pm.
The show subsequently ended abruptly with no encore after because of the technical hitch that left her an hour late to the stage.
The gig is Madonna’s only show in the north west of England as part of her Rebel Heart Tour.

'Star Wars' Premieres In Hollywood To Massive Crowds

Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "Star Wars" is back, and audiences at the world premiere of "The Force Awakens" excitedly greeted the mix of familiar characters and new faces waging war in a cinematic galaxy far, far away.
Audiences at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theater began cheering Monday from the moments the film's first words appeared onscreen and reacted excitedly to seeing the return of Han Solo and Chewbacca after a 32-year hiatus from the big screen.
After the showing, audiences spilled out into a giant tent erected on Hollywood Boulevard where they snapped photos with Stormtroopers and lined up to build their own droid toys. Many seemed to approve of the vision director J.J. Abrams delivered for the first new "Star Wars" film in a decade.
"I loved it. I thought J.J. did an amazing job," actor Zach Braff said after the premiere. "My favorite part was just seeing the camaraderie between the veteran and the new cast members."
"The Force Awakens" mixes familiar characters such as Harrison Ford's Han Solo and Carrie Fisher's Leia Organa with a new cast that includes Daisy Riddley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie and Lupita Nyong'o.
Comedian Patton Oswalt told The Associated Press that the film represented a return to what made him fall in love with "Star Wars" in the first place.
"It was a lot of fun," Oswalt said. "I had the same feeling as when I would watch these films as a kid."
Disney screened "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" simultaneously at three Hollywood theaters, with the cast watching the film at the Dolby Theatre.

The movie will be released publicly on Friday, with some expecting it to become to break box office records. "The Force Awakens" has already broken presale ticket records, and many fans are eager to see the onscreen reunion of original trilogy characters last seen in 1983's "Return of the Jedi."
The premiere's red carpet kicked off with Stormtroopers marching and droids rolling past cameras before the film'sstars arrived. John Williams' soaring score played in the massive opaque tent spanning four blocks in Hollywood.
While most stars opted for chic red carpet attire, Joseph Gordon-Levitt showed up dressed as Jedi master Yoda and comedian Rainn Wilson dressed as a Jedi.
The carpet melded classic "Star Wars" figures with the new generation that will carry the weight of two more sequels, video games, comic books, toys and other merchandise.
At one point, Fisher turned the microphone on her co-star, Oscar Isaac, and conducted an interview that included her dropping an expletive.
Ford reflected on the impact of the film and the role that catapulted him to superstardom.
"Well, in the '70s nobody knew what to anticipate," Ford said in an interview withStarwars.com. "Nobody had ever seen anything like it. Now we have to live up to what the first films delivered."

ALBERTO E. RODRIGUEZ VIA GETTY IMAGES

Abrams and "Star Wars" creator George Lucas posed together for photos, and both men took time to chat with fans — some dressed as X-Wing pilots and others as new "Force Awakens" characters — before heading into the premiere.
For those without tickets to the premiere, the most they could see was the outside of the tent.
"We're really disappointed because we are big Star Wars fans, and we were hoping to at least see a little of the celebrities," said Natalie Arnet, a tourist from Paris.
She said she understood the need for security, but it was tough to be so close and not get a better look at the red carpet. "I wanted to see the old cast members because I grew up with these films," she said.

10 unbelievable things that went viral in Nigeria this year

As we draw the curtain on an incredible 2015, it’s time to take our annual look at some of the viral topics that shaped our year.

Truth be told, we do love weird things. But even with our high level of tolerance for all things odd, some of the things that have gone viral in 2014 proved to be a bit too much to handle.
We've had to deal with singing sensations like Vic O who ought not be doing anything musically inclined, politicians like Orubebe who embarrassed the whole nation, the Nigerian vs Ghanian jollof debate and the hilarious experiences in a Nigerian secondary school, among other strange and weird stuff.
So today’s list is dedicated to all those things that went viral in Nigerian in 2015, some appreciated, some not, and some that you just can’t ignore.
Well, scroll on and enjoy this odd trip down memory lane.
1. Orubebe

Former Minister of the Niger Delta, Elder Godsday Orubebewent viral twice in Nigeria. First when he performed 'We cannot take this' on stage and when he announced he was defecting to APC from PDP.
Orubebe is 1st on the list because his disgraceful act went viral all over the world. Who ever told or advised Orubebe it was a good idea to act like a rebel and a baby on National television?
The memes that came from this was definitely hilarious and someone suggested 'Jega's Composure' be made a compulsory course in all Nigerian Universities.

Although the argument is still on, The Nigerian versus Ghanian Jollof was definitely a very hot topic on Twitter. Nigerians went in with their guns, ammunitions, pens and Internet subscriptions to destroy the Ghanians and the Ghanian Jollof.
This hashtag amassed more than 100k tweet and it was definitely fun while it lasted.
And of course Ghanaians still regret it till date for insulting the almighty Nigerian Jollof.
3. Vic O

10 unbelievable things that went viral in Nigeria this year
 (Twitter)

This is one trend that hopefully will die down soon, because frankly Nigerians have had enough of 'Its your boy Vic O' for a life time.
Even though we're still utterly amused that he went viral. Vic O is a legend that triumph other legends. His Meak and Dreke (Meek Mill and Drake) diss song annihilates all other diss songs.
That guys is a rap genius. *goes to the corner and passes out*

I thought i was the only one Nigerian who loved Harry potter until this hashtag went viral. It was fun, interesting, and really hilarious.
If you have ever tried to imagine how a Nigerian would survive at the Hogwarts School of  Witchcraft & Wizardry, this hashtag covers it perfectly.

You probably don’t know Sugabelly. I don’t know her either until this year. She went viral so many times this year but the sad story of her rape shook Nigerian Twitter.
Her story is so sad and touching but thankfully it has allowed people to speak up against rape, gender-based violence and allowed people to see that rape is never the fault of the victim.

The Twitter fight between Nigerians and Kenyans almost resulted into world war III.
The Tweet fight which started as a joke degenerated into a brutal fight thereby exposing long-suppressed resentments.
Lets hope, this is the last time any country would try to mess with Nigerians on Twitter, but incase they want to please remember we have 50 million Internet users in Nigeria.
7. Oshiomole's Marriage

Nigerians were shocked when former NLC president now Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, got married to a 32-year old Ethiopian Airline staff from Cape Verde.
The marriage reminded us of Iyanya's line "Shawty say she no come for the body oh, She come for the money oh"
Some people said the woman, whose name Iara means mermaid, was a gold digger, others said it was a match made in heaven.
8. Yoruba Demons

Yoruba guys were the bomb this year, from deceiving women with white trad and beards, to just acting like a total badass all the time.
Nigerian women have being advised to stay off Yoruba men, and if you don't, you are on your own.
9. Linda Ikeji’s Mansion

Many people become bloggers by mistake. Internet fame kind of just falls into their lap — and sometimes they truly never wanted it to begin with. But other people like Linda Ikeji specifically set out to achieve the kind of buzz that “breaks” the Internet.
When the news got out that Linda Ikeji bought a mansion at the exclusive Banana Island for N500 million, Nigerians went ballistic. The news was everywhere, even some men offered to marry her and be her maid. Her hard work and perseverance paid off.

Nigerians relive the gory details of secondary school from pictures and tweets about teacher brutality, boarding school hardships, to classroom drama.
This viral hashtag brought back all the memories of attending a secondary school in Nigeria.
