Barca Officially Announce Second Signing

La Liga champions FC Barcelona have officially announced the club's second signing of the transfer window.
After previously confirming they had agreed a €25 million fee with Olympique Lyon for French international Samuel Umtiti, the Catalan giants have now officially announced his move to the Camp Nou.

"FC Barcelona have signed 22-year-old French international defender Samuel Umtiti from Olympique Lyonnais for the next five seasons," a statement on the club's official website read.
"FC Barcelona have paid 25 million euros for the player. Umtiti's buyout clause is 60 million euros."
Umtiti will undergo a medical on Friday 15 July before signing a five-year deal with the Spanish club. His official unveiling will follow on the same day.
The defender impressed for France during the 2016 European Championship, featuring in three games, including as a starter in the semi-final and final.
Umtiti is Barca's second signing of the current transfer window after they already brought back former Barcelona-B forward Denis Suarez
