One-Eyed 'Cultist' Lecturer Stabs UNICAL Student In The Eye

An Economics lecturer at the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Chris Otu, has allegedly stabbed a third year student (names witheld) of the institution in the eyes with a car key.

Otu, suspected to be a cultists, reportedly attacked the student, also his Class Rep, in the lecture hall at about 12 noon on Friday.
Student Pulse gathered that Otu is one-eyed, having reportedly " lost one of his eyes during a battle".
According to a source quoted by Linda Ikeji, the victim was one of the 300 levels students of UNICAL's Computer Science Department waiting to receive lectures from the said attacker.
Otu had delayed his lecture for two hours, arriving at the lecture venue New CES Building, Room 7, Behind UNICAL Library at 12 noon, instead of the scheduled 10 am.
"The victimized student who is the lecturer's class rep. took whiteboard markers to the lecturer (Mr. Otu) which is a regular routine in various Universities in Nigeria," the source said.
"But the lecturer for no reason premeditatedly used a book in his hand to hit the student on his head and as if that was not enough, he stabbed him with his car key and walked him out of the class."
Luckily, the weapon struck the student just centimeters above his right eye.
A few inches lower and he would have become one-eyed like his attacker, who declared himself untouchable.
"The injury was bleeding profusely when the lecturer who felt zero remorse told the injured student and other students in the class to go and ask around who he is."
"Mr Chris Otu who lost one of his eyes during a battle is believed to be an ex-cultist and because this is Nigeria, he claims nothing can be done to him."
As at the time of this report, the lecturer is still walking free and the student is still seeking justice.
