The 24-year-old singer is a fashionista in her own right and told the publication that being part of the 'in' crowd is becoming unimportant to her
Between her chart-topping music and turbulent love life,
it's easy to forget that Taylor Swift is also a style queen in her own
right.
However the singer's breathtaking new shoot with FASHION magazine will surely jog your memory if it slipped your mind.
The 24-year-old features on the cover of the monthly publication and also took part in a revealing interview where she admitted to changing her views on love.
Speaking to the mag, she said: "When I was younger, I was just fascinated by romance and now the most important thing to me is the opinions of [my] sisterhood of friends.
“Celebrities surround themselves with people who don’t know what they want and only have you to validate their lives – that’s not interesting to me.
"You should not be threatened by women who are pretty and charismatic and good at what they do…my girlfriends have shaped me more in the past year and a half than any other factor.”
Within the pages of the magazine, the blonde beauty is wrapped up warm while wearing a number of Autumn-style coats.
It's a far cry from her Vogue cover, due out in the same month, where the hitmaker dons a pink hooded coat off the shoulder and a blue jumper dress with her incredibly toned legs on show.
Despite the stunning pictorial, the American star told FASHION that being part of the 'in' crowd is now less important to her than ever before.
She explained: “I’ve never had more friends who I trust and can rely on, but there’s always a bit of your self-perception that’s frozen in junior high, when you trained yourself to not feel cool.
“You’ll never really feel like you’re part of the ‘in’ crowd, but growing up means that matters to you less and less every day.”
Earlier this week, Taylor became the latest name to be linked to the celebrity nude photo hacking scandal, however fans were quick to suggest that the picture which had surfaced was in fact doctored.
The November issue of FASHION Magazine is available from October 13.
