Second Case of Ebola Reported In Texas

The spread of Ebola Virus in the United States has started getting higher following reports that a person who had contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died of Ebola in Texas on Wednesday, is also exhibiting symptoms of Ebola, the City of Frisco reported.

The Frisco Fire Department in a statement by Chief Mark Piland said the fresh case of Ebola was recorded in Frisco City, Texas at about 12.23 pm on October 8.
According to the statement, the department received a call from Care Now unit, 301 Main Street of FM 423 Denton County on the fresh case.
It said two ambulances and a regional ambulance bus were dispatched to fetch the patient, while the Frisco Police also responded to assist with scene control.
The statement said the patient had direct control with the Dallas patient, according to Frisco Firefighters-Paramedics reports.
The patient was quoted to have said that he had contact with the apartment and family members related to the Dallas patient zero, prior to the apartment being decontaminated.
The Frisco Firefighters-Paramedics had reportedly transported the patient to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas for further care.
Piland said the number of people who were potentially exposed to the virus were yet to be ascertained, adding that the Frisco Fire Department had invested a great deal of time and training resources to guarantee the good health and welfare of the residents.
