The WAG and superstar bonded at a Halloween bash in London and the singer asked: "Do you want to drink Mariah's champagne?"
Nicola McLean and Mariah Carey are not two people we'd expect to hear have been out drinking together.
But
the WAG once dressed up for her Halloween party in Chelsea and blagged
her way into the bash with her friends - only to get up close and
personal with the singer and party the night away.
The mum-of-two joined
the 44-year-old star, who was a real-life mermaid for the night, and
Nicola admits she couldn't believe her luck when she managed to sneak
her way onto the star's table.
She exclusively told Mirror Celeb:
"I once dressed up for Mariah Carey's Halloween party. It was the best
time of my life. I'm obsessed with her.
"It was years ago in The Collection in Chelsea. I blagged my
way in with my friends, not only that, but I ended up sitting on her
table. She gave us tickets to her show the next day in Manchester, we'd
been the previous night in London.
"Her people called us the next
day and we went backstage. She was fantastic but she would talk about
herself, she'd be like, 'Do you want to drink Mariah's champagne?' I was
like, 'Yes I f***ing do!'
"She was unbelievable, she was nice,
she was out there on another level, she had a ego, but she was so kind
to everyone. I love her. We weren't allowed phones in there so I don't
have any photos but it was brilliant."
The star also slammed those who have criticised about Mariah's weight after she piled on the pounds and said "she's Mariah, she can look however she wants!"
Nicola,
33, and Mariah may not have stayed in contact but they have a lot in
common as they are both now single with two children after splitting
from their husbands.
The blonde beauty split from ex-footballer Tom Williams a few
months ago after a video emerged of him getting close to another woman
in Vegas, while Mariah is now believed to be separated from presenter
Nick Cannon.
Speaking at the third birthday celebration of Amy
Child's clothing collection at London's Dirty Martini, she said: "It's
strange, I've not been single for 11 years but it is what it is. I find
the attention so weird, it's crazy, it just doesn't stop. I'm like,
'What the hell?!'
"I've had a lot of attention on Twitter as
well, but they're all asking if they can take me out for a Nando's. I
love Nando's but for f**k's sake, maybe if we'd been together a coupe of
years."
Asked what she would expect from a man who wants to woo
her, she replied: "Now I want anything that involves roses and
champagne!"
Gentleman, form an orderly queue and be prepared to get your wallet out.
