Ike Uche Set To Make Comeback To National Team



Amodu Shaibu announced the number of 66 players to execute the AFCON qualifying games against Congo and South Africa in November; long time outsiders, Ike Uche and Obafemi Martins are expected to return to the team

Stand in Super Eagles coach, Amodu Shaibu released a list of players to meet in camp for the final 23 that execute the last two AFCON games against Congo and South Africa
Nigeria travels to Congo for the November 15 return clash and then back home where they will play host to the Bafan Bafana of South Africa at the new Uyo International Stadium on November 19
Amodu in a press conference revealed that the team consists of player from both the local and international fronts
Ike Uche is one of the returning names that has been disclosed while other first team seniors are also expected to be included in the list.
Obafemi Martins is also expected to be in the list. Considering his recent run in the MLS with the Seattle Sounders, he is an inevitable prospect for the two AFCON qualifying games in November
