Chris Brown has decided to wear a bulletproof vest during his performances, and the reason behind the singer’s safety gear may surprise you!

Scary stuff! A source close to Chris Brown has EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife.com that he plans on taking precautions to protect himself during performances, and it’s all to make a special someone happy.

Chris Brown: Wearing Bulletproof Vest To Keep Karrueche Tran Happy

Chris’s long term on-and-off-again love, Karrueche Tran, is terrified about his safety, in light of a couple of recent events so he’s decided to wear a bulletproof vest.

“He now knows there’s always a chance something can go down when he’s in at a venue,” says the source, exclusively to HollywoodLife.com. “He’s aware of this because Karrueche lets him know that every damn day, like clockwork.”

It seems like Karrueche was persistent about Chris doing whatever he can to protect himself. The source continues, “He wants to be safe and wants her to stop tripping so hard so he was like, “I’m just going to wear a bulletproof vest. Will that make you happy?'” And she actually said yes! Problem solved!

It seems like Chris is running with a pretty intense crowd, so we’re glad that he’s decided to listen to his girl on this one.
