Justin Bieber FaceTimes Malala Yousafzai: Singer shows off charitable side as he pledges to support the Malala Fund
We're used to seeing him getting cosy with a variety of females, getting on the wrong side of the law, and showing off his tattooed torso on Instagram.
But on Wednesday night pop singer Justin Bieber was showing off a different side when he posted a picture of him FaceTiming 17-year-old Pakistani education campaigner Malala Yousafzai.
Brave schoogirl Malala, who has said in the past that she's a huge fan of the pop star, was shot by the Taliban for championing girls' rights to an education when she was just 15, and Bieber has said he intends to support her and the Malala Fund, an organisation she set up which is focused on helping girls to go school and raise their voices for the right to education.
Next to the picture of the pop star and Malala, Justin shared: "Just got to FaceTime with Malala Yousafzai. She has such an incredible story. I can't wait to meet her in person and talk about how I can support her and the @malafund. #love."
